Soil stabilization methods
WebSoil stabilization is a method in which soil quality improves by using special soil, cement material, or other chemicals. Stabilization increases the shear strength of soil or controls the swelling properties of soil. It improves the load-bearing capacity of soil to support flooring, foundations, and roads. WebFor improving mechanical behavior, stabilization methods may be applied to in-situ soils through a blend of water and chemical additive, also known as chemical stabilization method, in order to improve bearing capacity or decreasing permeability (or both) and reducing maintenance costs over time.
